I recently bought the hifiman sundara to upgrade from an old school fidelio X2. The sundaras arent really impressing me as an upgrade and idk if its just because im not used to them or theyre just not for me. I first thought it was a power issue so i got a schiit stack but im still not feeling them. I dont really listen to bass heavy music moreso into vocals and instrumentals. Will also be for light gaming. Dont want to spend more than i did on the sundaras ~350 and help is much appreciated. Gracias muchachos!

I think the Drop/Sennheiser 58X would serve you nicely. Best open back headphone under 200 bucks on the market imo. You'll get the vocals and instruments - mids are really good, as is the low end. Check em out
