I might not bother to amp it. I've amped my 595's with a Decware Zen Head (300 bucks or so) and a Total Bithead (now 150 bucks). It doesn't take much to amp the 595. It really doesn't sound all that better amped. It has low impedence. Get something really cheap. the Fiio or whatever that el cheapo animal is called.
One reason to buy the Sennheiser HD 595 is that one can get by sans amp.
Save your lolly for a Sennheriser HD 650 or something and then spring for a serious headphone amp.
I just bought a HD595, and they sound loud enough for me connected directly to my Ipod nano 4G. Altough I don't plan to use it with the Ipod, I use them connected directly to the headphone connection on my Parasound Zpre2 (a pre-amplifier for small speakers mostly), and the HD595 sound great to me, and I dont even go halfway on the volume knob, it can go pretty loud connected to the Zpre2.
