Hey all, its time for me to get back into fitness and i need some new headphones ! I've never owned a pair of IEMs before, and unfortunately living in new zealand my options of being able to listen to them before purchasing is virtually non existent.
Im looking for some decent IEMs for exercise purposes (mostly cardio so lots of moving about) and the genre is mostly electronic music like Dubstep, DNB, breakcore. I do love bass however not at the expense of clarity, as female vocalists in some chillstep style music is absolutely beautiful to listen to.
Two options ive been suggested are the Shure SE535 however research suggests they are lacking considerably in bass, and that the Westone 3 might be a better choice
The other options are the Sennheiser IE8/80.
Any other suggestions i welcome!
The source is an HTC One with FLAC files and a Firestone Fireye Mini Plus headphone amp.
Can anyone shed some advice for me please ? The sound signature i love at the moment are my Yamaha Pro 500's, however i understand that kind of bass would be unachievable from an IEM
Thanks
