I am mainly interested in the $100ish range. Not Bose range.

Anyone have good experiences with some clock/radio format docks ? Not very big.

I saw a iHome and Sony at Best Buy, but was not able to listen to them.

I have had the cheap ones don't bother and I was not about to pay Bose
their price and then I listened to a Cambridge Soundworks 740 and it literally beats the competition for hundreds less the new model incorporates a dock mine is 2 years old at least give it an audition the bass
from this is unbelievable .

I have the JBL Time Machine (black) dock radio. It's a year or so old now so you might find a good deal on one. Sound is fantastic.

Apparently that model of Cambridge Soundworks is almost impossible to find new now.

The sony ipod docks sound nice, although i don't know if i would be comfortable reading a small LCD as well as having the snooze button right ontop of my ipod touch, i mean one slip of the hand and i see the touch snapping in half.

having heard all that the canadian bestbuy has to offer, i would go with the sony's
