Hi, been frequenting this forums for a long time and I've learned a lot as well as made my fair share of excellent purchases as well as remorseful buys (haven't we all?). In doing all of that, I've been wondering, isn't it time to revamp the for-sale subforum?
For example, in the headphones for sale, could we have a breakdown of open, closed, IEM, noise canceling, etc.?
For amplification, could we break it down between home use vs portable?
For source components, could we break it down between home use vs portable and have dac/amp combos be its own section?
For cables, speakers, etc, could each category have its own subcategory within the larger generalization?
I feel like a lot could be done to streamline the searching and it's long overdue. The only caveat I can think of is that it'd be difficult to police all of it, and the resources required to do so would probably be greater than I'm logistically aware. However, if there's enough people on board to create the demand, maybe it can happen somehow.
