I'd like a nice stand for my DT 880, sold by some e-shop in the European Community that could ship to Italy.

I don't want to spend a fortune, at the end of the day it's a piece of wood/metal...

All I can really say is, don't get a headphile stand, they aren't worth it... I originally thought they were made of metal... it turns out that they are all pvc. I think the best route to go is DIY. Or if you would like, give swt61 a pm, you might be able to persuade him ($) to make one for you, his work is really beautiful. Other than that the only other decent option is the WooAudio stand, avaliable in both black and silver: http://www.wooaudio.com/products/wahps.html

Wow that is really useful info. I thought they were wood. Wow looks certainly are deceiving. I was a wee bit turned off by the "these are spray painted" comment on their website.

Sounds dumb but I was just thinking of one of these:

I have a dual headphone stand by Headphile. The base and the end caps are indeed made out of wood. IMO the stand is very well made and with the matching type of wood it can compliment any decor you may have. I believe I paid around $65 form mine.

I wasn't saying that the end caps were pvc, i was just saying that I though the tubes were metal, i was quite a bit turned off when I found out it was just pvc pipes. I was totally planning on buying one, but changed my mind when I found this out. I will prolly just try to make a nice stand on my own.

There is also the Stax stand option, those are really nice looking and are made out of wood. http://www.audiocubes.com/product/St...one_Stand.html
Rather expensive though.

Also there is the Sennheiser clip/stand, those are cool, and only 20 bucks.

Edit: Just remembered - Koss Holdaphone!:

Tyll from Headroom was telling me they also might be releasing their own stand, about time if you ask me, but it wasn't set in stone. Just something to watch out for.

How would you guys go about hanging headphones from something attached to the underbelly of a desk? (So that it is hanging from under the desk.)

This is interesting and it's available in Europe, which is what I was asking for...

All you banana hangers fans... I don't know where to buy them. Never seen one in Italy. Maybe I wasn't looking, though...
