My K701s sound awesome, but I have a feeling that with a better source than an iPod lineout I'll enjoy them twice as much.

edit: of course, if there's a good DAC that doesnt' quite do all of these things in my price range but does a lot of it, don't hold out on the info =O

That must be one of the easiest question ever asked on head-fi. A TC-7510 fits the bill on price, is known to drive the K701 very well via its inbuilt headphone amp, has been accused of having a lot of bass, and could be yours in less than a week if you are lucky with the post.

That sounds AMAZING. This one guy said he sold his Benchmark DAC1 in favor of this thing, LOL!

Built in amp? Holy god, I can sell my hornet and get a bunch of money back for other toys
