My buddy had HD580s, but refuses to buy an amp. i convinced him to sell the hd580s and buy something easier to drive...so what should he buy, something ~120ish and easy to drive, and good (comparable to the hd580s with no amp) sound quality?

Senn 590. 120 ohm, more sensitive than the model 580. Similar Senn sound, fit, comfort.
