My wife and I were at Best Buy last night and she handed me Laura Nyro's debut recording:
"Eli and the Thirteenth Confession".
Her voice is wonderful and her renditions of some old classics like Eli's Comin and Stoned Soul Picnic take me back to another time. It is so much more pleasant sitting here listening to her sing than going downstairs and working on the remodeling in the kitchen. If you like the female voice she is worth a listen.
