Hello.

After my Audio Technica ATH-SJ5 is broken for some time,
I am now seeking an adequate replacement.

Although I've bought in the meantime an Ultrasone HFI-580,
I can only recommend, but it's not an adequate substitute
for my defective ATH-SJ5.

Firstly, the Ultrasone is less suitable for traveling,
other hand, the Audio Technica sounded some way more fun.

Particularly hip-hop was fun anyway right on the AT.

Also, because the Audio Technica is almost impossible to obtain,
I am looking for a worthy successor.

The following criteria are important to me:
- Isolation, since I'm traveling a lot by train
- max. ~ 250g
- Price: max. ~ 80 €
- Bass (especially in Hip-Hop & Electro)

Currently I think the following ones are in my closer choice:
- Aucio Technica ATH-SJ5 (again)
- Panasonic RP-DJ600
- Reloop RHP-10

Can anyone say something about the differences of the three headphones,
or recommend a different for my purposes?

Which one would you buy?

Kind regards
Hiwi

If you want to stay in the AT line, and you like a fun sound (with lots of bass) probably the ATH-WS55. Isolation is pretty decent.

Thanks for your fast reply, fabio-fi!

Didn't recognice this headphone so far.
Looks like the successor of the SJ-Line.

Now, i wonder if it's worth buying the ATH-WS77?
Can anyone describe the difference?

I read that the WS55 has even more powerful bass... - someone can confirm this?

I have now looked at the exact program of Audio Technica more accurate...

The official successor of the ATH-SJ5 seems to be the ATH-SJ55.
Can anyone tell me something about the differences?
According to the technical data both seem very similar.

About the ATH-WS55 I've already read some positive reviews.
Has anyone compared the WS55 to the SJ5/SJ55?

Kind regards
Hiwi
