Hi all,
I want to boost the bass of my Edifier R1100 speakers (same speakers as Edifier R1280BT, without the fancy connections).
This subwoofer would do the job ?

How does it compare to more expensive subs like, Yamaha, JBL, Klipsch, and others ?
(There´s no need of much power)
Thanks in advance !

That would probably work fine. I have a different Monoprice sub and it's decent.

I am using it with a 5 channel surround. I would say that the 60 watt should probably satisfy you with those bookshelf speakers, but for $20, I think that the one I have linked is very very nice for the price. It has ok detail, level and crossover control. It's not super textured, but it rumbles!

Sorry I can't help you on that sub but one would think it better than no sub, I'm running a couple of Voll 100w 8" subs when I need a bit of low end. Mine are very similar to the emo 8" sub.

How would you connect it?
Do you have an amplifier with several line outs?
Or a sub out?
This sub will require either a separate sub-connector out from the amplifier, or double sets of hi-level (speakers) outs.
This sub has no connectors to connect your speakers from the sub.
