Hello,

I was looking for V6 or 7506s. Despite their popularity here, it seems impossible to find them at local shops. But I noticed some Sens like HD215 and AKGs (K240s etc.).

215s were so cheap that I started to wonder if they could be a substitution.

Are these 215s any good for tracking or mixing?

IMHO: continue to try to find the MDR-7506, it is worth it.

I agree with amartignano, except I suggest finding the V6s if you can, they are far cheaper. Why not order them online, and pick up the Beyer replacement pads that B&H sells as well? The pads make the cans significantly more comfortable and offer better acoustic isolation.
