I'm looking for an MP3 player under $50 that can be used with an external microphone for recording lectures. The mic I'm using is a Zalman clip on mic that has worked well in the past.
Capacity desired is 1GB minimum. 2GB is ideal. Sound quality wise, I'd liek it to be as close to the iRiver iHP-120 as possible. AAA batteries would be ideal, and I don't mind refurb/open box products.
