Hi, Head-Fi community.
I've gotten an extra few bucks in my Amazon account, and I decided I would use some for a decent pair of earbuds. I listen to a lot of classic rock and post rock, but some metal and a bit of classical too. I'm looking for clarity first, but I would also like a good bass punch. I know that such an IEM doesn't exist at the $50 price point but I'd like to come as close as possible. I've been considering the Brainwavz M1, Proalpha and M2, the Meelect A151, CC51, M9, and M31, the Klipsch s2, s3, and s4 and some Soundmagics.
I'm about to go for the Mee A151, but I'm thinking of switching to the cc51 or the Brainwavz M2. I've been over Joker's thread, but there hasn't been much mention of the Mee A151 except for the occasional, "Awesome value for the money." shoutout.
I know you guys are probably sick of responding to "What's the best ... at .... price range," but I would be eternally grateful if you could provide some advice.
