Recommend me some sub $50, circum-aural headphones that sound grreat with rock music (and computer games).

They will be used with a computer soundcard. Closed design preferred.

Maybe the philips HP-8xx line has something?

under $50?

for Philips, only the Hp170 class and HP550....there are also Koss Ur20, 29, 30, 40; R80, etc...the cheap AKG's [K44, 55, 66] are there as well....

Hm, well there are three definite things: under $50, from soundcarda and for rock music. What would be the best buy?

I heard the Koss UR20's and their sound was so horrible it was sickening. I suppose I'm used to my KSC-50's bass, but these things just plain had NO BASS even when I jacked up my bass boost to 2 (my KSC-50's only require one at most). Also, they were really tinny sounding, almost as if they were too far away from the head. The only thing they had going for them was exceptional comfort.
