Hey guys, I recently came into some money and also an SR 80. I have about 300 bux, but I'm saving about $100 dollars for interconnects and bowl pads. I'm looking for an entry level tube amp. My ears listen to artists such as the Shins, Our Lady Peace, Tom Petty, Led Zeppelin, assorted classical dudes and some jazz. I'll be using my speaker setup for Daft Punk and the like.

Another concern is how to go about connecting both my speakers' preamp and the headphone amp to the output on my X-Fi XtremeMusic. Just a regular Y-splitter, I'm assuming?

Did you visit the Little Dot link, review the specifications and read Penchum's review? You would have seen that the LD MKII has phono outputs. Perhpas these will work in your setup.

I picked up a used Little Dot II+ tube headphone amp from this board and absolutely love it. For the money it is hard to beat. I listen to all sorts of music, from Jazz to Classical, Rock to Rap and CW.
