i bought headphones based on your recommendations. however, i really do not understand a thing about treble, mid-range, and stuffs you right describing the sound you hear from the 'phones. i think i will enjoy my phones better if i understand these stuffs. so, do you know of a site where i can find what these things mean (e.g. treble, bass, etc.). thanks!

Try this site.

It's for Car Audio, but the terms are the same. I looked up "soundstage" and the definition is accurate, so I assume other definitions are accurate too.

To understand treble and bass, trying playing with the equalizer on your creative Zen.

People mean different things when they talk about bass, midrange, treble, but here's a rough guideline in terms of frequency:

Bass: <150hz
Mids: in between
Treble >3000hz
