got the cable for hd600 from Cardas - Headphone Cable for Sennheiser HD580,600,650-Audio Advisor

i am not sure which plug is for which side. just guess the red one is for the right and the black for the left??

Enjoy the new cable. The Senn HD 600's are great phones too. I got one of those cables too and I really enjoy it. That is correct: the red for the right side and the black for the left side.
