I ordered some headphones off eBay two weeks ago. I emailed the seller and told me that they must still be in customs. I then realized that some of the customs workers in Canada are on strike so the border is all backed up. So I assume my package is in a bonded warehouse somewhere. I guess that what I get for trying to get the lowest price. So, patiently I wait.

that's the downside of having labour unions...unions taking things too far...A few weeks ago, in Montreal, Canada. Road Service Workers went on strike during a snow storm/ freezing rain storm and refused to clear the roads. this endangered the drivers and the pedestrians and soon the government had to intervene and declare their striking to be illgal...all this while i was inside my warm home listening to Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata...

O life in Canada! When are the postal workers going on strike? Last time I was there in September Revenue Canada (Canadian equivalent of IRS) workers were on a rotating strike.

It isn't totally closed just the number of entry points had been reduced from 5 to 2 if I read the article right. Kind of annoying really.

I did not think stuff took 20 days to cross the border. I guess I've never ordered from Canada before.

Yea I'm waiting on some K501s via usps.. i'm not expecting them for a month I guess. If possible, I like to get stuff shipped via fedex with low shipping value to avoid brokerage fees.

ups's tracking system always get stuck at certain point. when it reaches that point, it basically means that it is coming soon. that's my experience with ups. if I were you, i'd better cross my fingers that it didn't get checked by custom....hence no brokerage charges
