hi, I'm new to this site so appologies if I do something wrong. Also, I've just received my studio v 3rd anniversary and all this is new to me too . I need some help! In the internal media of the device, there r firmware options BA and Dynamic, can I actuallly switch between the two from the device or would I have to do that from my PC? I tried from the device and the music just stops playing and I don't hear any difference. In the settings under version info it still says Dynamic so I assume u can't change it from the player but can someone please confirm that thi is the case? Thanks and sorry for my ignorance!

They just include the files for you. Drag them to your PC for future use.

Thanks goodvibes! U mean when I plug device into PC and open folders, I would change the firmware by opening the appropriate file? I can't just change between the firmwares on the player, right?

No, drag the FW folders tpo your desktop or documents. then find the HISOUND FW thread for instructions. I'd leave it be. It doesn't get any better than the way it came.
