First, I apologize as I'm sure this is well documented, and while I've done some searching here and on google, I'm not sure I've gotten the exact answer I was seeking. I'm sure I just don't know what I'm looking for, and therefore the search terms to find what I need.
I'm getting back into hifi a bit and want a device like a raspberry pi (or something) that will connect to my DAC via usb (preferred) or spdif. I need to be able to control it with my phone (android) or my Surface Pro (windows) via wifi. It needs to be able to play Apple, Tidal, and some local files (perhaps on an SD card?)
I hope I'm explaining this well. Basically I just don't want to have to plug and unplug my phone/tablet every time I want to listen to my hifi.
