I am looking for a stable streaming DAP that has the ability to add streaming services.
I have access to a free Naxos account and use it a lot on my computer...listening to files less and less.
I have considered buying an older LG V30 but I really do not need the size or the added features - I just want to listen to good quality streaming.
I have tried the Fiio M6 and it was a nightmare connecting wirelessly. I also tried a Hiby R3 for Tidal and it was also a crap shoot connecting online.
So, my priorities are: high quality sound, good amplification and the ability to add apps that stay stable.
All in a nice compact size - like the new Sony NW105 or a Hiby R5.
Max price around $300.
My daily headphones are Grado gr10e's and occasionally my B&O H6 v.2's.
Any thoughts appreciated.
