Two weeks ago, Circuit had Senn's on sale for $60 (down from $69.99). I placed a web order, to be picked up at one of three local stores. They have a "Ready in 24 minutes or they give you $24" offer. Sounded good to me.

I showed up at the store that afternoon (4 hours later) and they "regretted to inform me that the item was not in stock", so they gave me the $24 gift card.

Fast forward to today...

I went to one of the other stores and got the last pair they had. They were on sale for $59.98. Add my $24 gift card that costs nobody (except Circuit City) anything, and the net was $35.98.

And by the way, yes I DO like the initial sound of the 300's. I can't wait for my Tomahawk and ALO Jena Cryo Dock to show up.

good deal! sometimes it does work out after all.

i'm also a fan of the CX300s. if you get a chance, try burning them in with some pink noise. it totally opened mine up and made them quite surprising... in a good way!
