What tubes were in your AE when you bought it?

Please provide Serial number of AE

Mine is a UK version Serial 19/33 with Philips 12AT7WC and unknown 6922/ECC88's.

Mine is an UK version, AN22/33AC (hard to tell as it is handwritten and the second digit is amost gone) bought at Stoneaudio.

It has two Siemens E88CC (D85) and a Philips JAN 12AT7W (ECG 8739 AHD)

The one I sold to Goredwings19 last year had the same tubes as the one I have now.I can't remember what the serial number was.

Nomad, could you take a pic of the Siemens tubes in your unit?

Of course, Rob. Let me know if you are interested in a particular area of the tube. Give me a couple of days.

RobN> I know the emp a.e you sold me had different stock tubes to the one I bought originally. But for the life of me I couldn't think what they are.

Have you bought another emp a.e? Or did you go for the silver version?

The Audiophile club.

From What I remember about that emp a.e the tubes had a sweeter midrange than the stock ones now.

I know headfi photo gallery has pics of my old emp a.e but they got lost when head fi misplaced the pics and I don;t know if they are retrievable.

They might be the same ones, who knows but my memory is a little...fuzzy...
