My choices are:

S Jays @ £32 - On Amazon UK
Nuforce NE-7M @ £49 - imported from US
Klipsch Custom 2 @ £60 - on Amazon UK
Shure SE210 @ £64 - on Amazon UK
Denon AH-C551 @ £80 - Local Shop

I listen to Classical, Pop/Rock, Folk, some Heavy Metal. I suppose a bit of everything really!!! Playing through a D10 amped Sansa Fuze with DIYLOD.

Current phones are Audio Technica A900 & Senn PX100

I want the best SQ but at a reasonable price.

You guys must get really hacked off with these constant requests for info but any guidance would be most appreciated - Thank You.

No on the SE210's. Cross them off your list. I've only heard the NE7M's off the rest of your list, but I would probably cross the Denons off your list too for that price.

I'd narrow it down to the Custom 2, S Jays, and NE-7M's. The NE-7M's are really good all arounders but I have no idea how they compare to the others.

I've heard the s-Jays, Custom 2 and C551. IMO, the C551 is definitely not worth £80. You can almost import the C751 for the same price. Amazon UK sells the s-Jays for £58. The price you see is from a marketplace seller.

Personally between the s-Jays and Custom 2, I rather have the Custom 2. The s-Jays sound a bit too 'thin' for my liking. You do get a bit more bass, but the Custom 2 has sweet mids and highs that I find the s-Jays lacking. I think the C551 is also a good choice if you like bass, if you can get it for a reasonable price, but for my money I rather listen to Sennheiser's CX 95/550.

My thoughts are wow on a D10 yet looking for a low end IEM. I would say spend a little more on the IEMs, which are the most important part of your chain IMO, and get something like the IE series or PFE (since you have an amp) or W3.

Stupid question alert....The link above to the Custom 2's on sale is pretty good price if I'm reading my currency exchange right. Does it make sense ordering those and having them shipped to the U.S or are their hidden fees for international shipping or is the time to ship not worth it?

Thanks in advance...

These will be my first IEMs and I reckon £80 max is enough to see if I can get on with them I'd hate to spend a fortune on IEMs that might end up gathering dust in a drawer. They are to replace the PX100s which can be a bit awkward to carry around even though they fold up. If I can live with the IEMs i will upgrade at a later date, if I don't get on with them then I'll upgrade the portable headphones.

Mymemory shipping is free internationally, they quote in sterling which is weak at the moment so it makes things more affordable. They've shipped to me in Ireland and haven't charged any extra... I assume when they say free worldwide shipping in the top right corner they mean it.

I don't know how long it takes them to ship... it's always been fast enough for me but then again Ireland is that far from England :p

Mymemory does not ship to the US.
