That's it! I tried that and booted into Windows and got sound but it was VERY full of static...so much so that I couldn't even hear the music. A simple reboot cleared that right up!!

To be honest, that's the last thing I thought it would be because I installed the AV-710 into the exact same slot my Audigy 2 was in. Weird. Now I'm going to go thru the setup guide to make sure I have Foobar set up correctly.

I had the static once, I think installing newer drivers fixed it up.

Yep, i might try moving the thing again later, i've tried the same slot my SB live was in, and then the bottommost slot.... we'll see...
