Hi;

I'm using my phone as a music source into my portable amp.

I'm interested if anyone has any experience in temporarily attaching their amp to a DAP or similar.

I don't want it there all the time, but when i'm using it it'd be nice to have them as a single unit rather than loose.

Any have any ideas?

Don't want to permanently damage or mod either amp or source

Most members either use amp bands (my preferred method) which keeps things clean. Others use two piece dual lock Velcro which allows you to snap the two together then separate at will. Remember using bands will cover some of a smartphone screen whereas Velcro won't be In the way. Make sure it's dual lock, much stronger than standard Velcro.

Hers an example of the bands we use.
