Anybody familiar with this recording by founding member of Porcupine Tree?

For all practical purposes I sort have lost touch with contemp rock and have been on the contemp jazz track for a while but a friend turned me on to this recordind and I find it sensational.  Every song is different but all are top notch.  It was a pleasant surprise to find this gem.

I have it on my wish list where I buy high-res files, but haven't bought or heard it yet. Thanks for the mini-review, I'll go ahead and check it out next time I'm on there. Love PT and SW. :)

I'm a huge Steven Wilson fan! I've got all of his albums on CD and look forward to hearing each upcoming release - he's pumping out music quite quickly now.

I'd be torn between The Raven that Refused to Sing and Hand Cannot Erase if I'd havd to pick a favorite though.

Same here.
Not a big PT fan, but Steven Wilson released epic albums.
I even pre-ordered the limited edition of his next album, and this is not cheap...

I always use some of his tracks to test DAPs and headphones, for very specific things (typically Regret #9, Ancestral, Drive Home and the Raven that refused to sing).
