In Short, he claims that DRM is bad, but there's nothing he or Apple can do about it. He feels that instead of suing Apple, these countries should sue the music companies to abolish DRM so that songs bought from iTunes can be played on any player.

I wholeheartedly agree with him on this one, but don't expect the labels to be too enamoured with the idea...

Interesting read.

At first i thought it was fair enough for music companies to protect their music but then when you look at the amount of music sold on cd that isn't protected it makes it look ridiculous to protect the digital media
