I new pair of ATH-A700's were shocking the hell out of me and they needed to be replaced. I have just got a replacement and wanted to know of any decent way of preventing cable winding. I was a bit angry with the a700 because the cable tangling/winding was really bad.

I have hung headphones upside down from a rail in my wardrobe overnight. That has got kinks out the cable.

I use almost the entire cable, so any contraption or winding really wont help. Thanks for the tips though. I was more interested if there is anything that can be done to the cable itself.

Not sure what the issue is, I haven't ever had a problem from the cable of mine.
