Steps to prevent cable degradation?

Those pictures above depict the ugliest setup I have ever seen.If I had to resort to doing that to get decent sound I would give headphones away.
I am sorry but it looks a mess and doubt if it sounds any better than a normal setup.

But you agree that the last picture is prettier than the rest? I had matching wallpaper so the audio system looks invisible. I built that speaker system for my girlfriend.

She hasn't said anything so I assume she hasn't seen it, remember it's invisible now. Look at the picture.

Maybe he wraps her in it as well.I wonder if he wraps all electronic gear this way,going to be hard to see the tv.
