Searching through the forum, I've seen scattered mentions of the SAA HD800 modifications. I'm hoping to hear from anyone that has tried either/both the Ultramodification and the Endorphin cables (hardwired or connectors), and their impressions versus stock HD800.

I have tried the SDR mod on an HD800, and prefer the stock sound to the SDR. Does the UltraMod produce similar results as the SDR mod?

They are still in business! Their customer service is excellent. Since posting this, I’ve had the chance to hear a modded HD800 with Endorphin cables, and it is a clear upgrade to the already iconic stock HD800. Very impressive.
