So I downloaded something called the Steelseries GG app today for gaming and noticed it had a spatial audio setting for music as well. Lets you adjust the position of all the virtual channels, I shoved them all forward and it sounds like I'm listening to speakers in front of me now. Cool utility for people who like to play around with stuff like this. Listening right now and it's pretty trippy, feels like the sound is coming from behind my monitor. Has a toggle switch so you can easily A/B test and it's quite obvious. Can adjust distance too, make it wide or intimate.
Effect is really similar to the Zahl HM1 I tried at Can Jam but free instead of $8k
