Just wanted to make sure it's fine to hook up IFI Audio DSD nano LE variable RCA output to Stax SRM 252s. I'm expecting my 3100 system this week and don't want to mess it up
STAX amps should be able to accept the output voltage of any DAC with no issues.
You could start with the lowest voltage setting and work your way up, seeing how the volume changes. I had the SRS-3100 and would generally want to maximize the DAC's output, since the SRM-252S is an entry-level STAX amp with much lower voltage than higher-end electrostatic amps.
