i'm thinking about buying a used srm-1mkii to get me into the world of stax.

what do you guys think about this amp? is it a good starting place, or should i dive into say a srm-727s?

would the sr-404s be a good match with the srm-1mkii? or should i save some money and get the 303s?

While I already posted a reply in the other thread I would much rather pickup a used 717 then a new 727. The new model has gotten mixed reviews while the other is pretty good for a sand amp. The Lambdas really love tube amps so any one of the T1 or the 007t line would be a good match.
