Ordered Sr-X9000 last March, arrived today. 10 months 2 weeks.
Now the fun begins....

I am thinking on upgrading my amplifier for my X9000. I am in between Kerry’s T2 and Mjolnir’s Megatron.
What’s your opinion?

Mjolnir’s megatron might not be for a year or longer - I’ve asked to pay ahead and he won’t accept. Unless he goes rectifier tubes and other upgrades, the megatron won’t be on the same tier as the T2.

That said, I still want one.

Anybody know if the warranty on X9000 is transferable? With the channel imbalance issues I wouldn't want to be stuck with a used pair without warranty..

It's not transferable. I emailed STAX when I sold mine.

This is the manufacturing warranty. If you buy it from somewhere like headamp, their warranty is transferred I believe… @justin w. ?
