So now we just have to wait for him to build or buy a suitable energizer/transformer, and then share his impressions with us.

Yep, and he wouldn't ship overseas....

I would've shipped the uncased hybrid eXStatA amp without the transformer..the cased SS eXStatA amp was too big to ship it overseas and the transformer was not compatible for 230 volt usage.
