Very generous gesture. Don't pick me since I already had the 404 for 2 years and know its sound like the back of my hand.
Just a reminder to all new members that don't know what this is: you will need a dedicated electrostatic amplifier for this. The 404 likes tubes and the best I've had it with was the 007t, but the 313 will do in a pinch. I expect good third-party tube amps to be even better.
