Stax SR-009 Channel Imbalance Trouble / Driver Problem?

Looks like the loose metal come from the loose wire internally, you may have to find a serviceman in your area that can open the headphone to fix it, possibly may not need to replace them!...

The mylar-membrane on the right side is torn apart/cracked. The drivers must be replaced by Stax (shoule be around 2000 USD/Euro) or repaired by someone who is able to make new membranes. Just swapping one driver is not recommended as it would not be guranteed to result in a matched pair of drivers. If you need more info you can send me a PM.

I have experienced this imbalance issue in a new 009, how this is still occuring in 2025? unbelievable.
