Hi!
I want a STAX setup.
I will be using them 90% for gaming. I need a comfortable setup, great soundstag, and not lacking in bass. I can shell out about 700$ for setup and not afraid of used parts. So suggest me a headphone and what kind of amp.

IMHO Stax are not the first headphones that leap to the top of my mind when gaming is the primary use.

I'd recommend probably a set of HD-650's and an appropriate amp.

or for a little more transparency Beyer 880's

rly? i'd use stax: ambience, music, positioning would be so gooooooooood.

op: the budget can get you an sr-202 and aim for the best amp ur money buys u.

Now, you don't think 303 or 404 would be better with a weaker amp?

Now, I had stock HD600s, k701s, dt990s all with millett amp. I heard all sorts of bass and the lack of bass as well. How is the bass with STAX 202s? Like is it there, sort of at level of K701s, or is it not there at all when compared to what I already heard?
