I'm not the only one who likes my jazz.

Aira, my daughter pictured here is listening quietly to some latin jazz with the Stax SR-5NB "Gold", reputedly the "Grado" of Stax, with a rather bright, but not so fatiguing signature, very well matched with tube amps such as the T1 or older 007t (which has a normal bias output). They have quite a bit of bass too, and being electrostatic, is as tight as the rest of the sound, and extremely punchy. Considering they were made in 1982, their sonic abilities are amazing when compared to even new headphones. For vintage Stax, I would rate them as up there with the best.
