I am currently using the Stax 4040 (404 signature +srm 006tII ) and just ordered my Stax 009...will it be enought to power the mighty 009?
 
my other system is Schitt Lyr with Bifrost and Sennheiser  HD 650..

Yes it drives it Ok (it is less picky compared to an SR007) but later on you'll probably want to upgrade to the SRM-727II.

007t/ii drives mine w/ excellent sonic results, FWIW.

They will be fine. I used 009 phones with an 006 amp before I got the Cavalli and sold the 006 amp. The 007 amp less so - it had less drive with the 007 phones and maybe with the 009 phones too.
