Hi,

I've had an IFi Zen DAC V1 for 3 years at this point on my setup.
At the beginning of the year, some electronic part failled on me for not "physical" reason. Unplugged my IEMS and the Balanced output was dead.
Bought an IFi Zen DAC V2 last month at 100 $ rebate from iFi.
Worked without issue for 1 month.

Last Friday night, left home to go to the restaurant, came back ... huge Static in the right hear (sounds like a windstorm honestly).
Only on the balanced output.

Nothing in my setup has changed. iFi is telling me to buy iDefender this & iSilencer that ...

I've tried the DAC on all PCs in my setup, with both IEMs & Headphones.
I've tried the DAC with laptops plugged / unplugged in different part of the house.

The noise is always there.

I've tried Fiio BTR5 & SMSL C200 they both worked without issue.

Opinions ?

I have a ticket open ... they are suggesting to add iDefender / iSlicencer / IEM Match ... but it worked before.
