So it's turned into an abysmal grey, cloudy, and frigid season here in polluted Ohio, and as a result of the extreme dryness from the climate, static electricty abounds with every movement. I notice that when I'm wearing headphones and accidentally scuff my feet on the carpet (and even the hardwood floor, lol) I hear crackling in the headphones from the electrical buildup. Is this actually damaging my headphones, or only negligently so?
