After a little time without some cans or iems I've decided I'd like to re invest in a little portable set up. Other than a (UK) Samsung galaxy s8, it's safe to assume I have nothing. My initial start up budget is around £250 absolute max and I'm trying to decide whether to get a dedicated dap and iems or whether to invest more into the iems and save for a dap - so my considerations are....

Shanling m2s plus ibasso it01 - can get this bundle for about the money I have.

That's about as far as I've got, I'm no bothered about a dap with WiFi, but like/love the features the m2s has to offer. Plus I've read great things about the ibasso

Any tips, advice or recommendations appreciated

Thanks

KZ ZS6 is pretty good for the money. Love the Quad drivers but for $44 versus $140 the ZS6 is pretty good. Not as detailed but a does bring the bass.

thanks for the input so far, looks like the general opinion is invest in the iems to start with and worry about the DAP later on - which makes sense

I'll research the 1more quads as well as the ZS6 - to be fair, neither were on my wish list :)

Think I'm narrowing to either the ibasso or oriveti basic

Or.... go whole hog and do the whole £230/£250 on iems (very tempting)
