i've been going nuts about purchasing headphones. I've looked at almost all the recommended ones like the m50, DT770, DT880, HD600, HD650, AD- 900X, AD-1000X, HE-400, MDR-MA900, and i just cant choose. For the amp, i plan on getting the modi/magni combo.. but i'm open for other suggestions. Which set would be the best bang for buck? I'm looking for quality built and comfort. I listen to hip hop, rock, classical, jazz. My budget isn't great.. i don't want to spend over 400 total.. but if its worth it i will consider. Please help. Thank you.

Is this setup just for music? or movies? or gaming?

Its going to be for music, gaming, movies, editing film, listening to tracks that i make. Also, where can i get FLAC files? Or some high quality music files?

I heard one person say if your editing music files, better to get a headphone that is not bassy.
So, have you looked into the AKG 7XX series headphones?
