that's right, rip it to wav, flip it around and listen to it backwards.... the lyrics will blow your mind :p

Lyrics:

Plaaaay backwards,
Hear why its sung here, oppositioner..
Allll on track, all arriving
They all sing, and they are one.
Shall I loathe you now, parishoner?
Oh hear Him, Christian within me.
It stirs my sin; the river,
Oh, she swells with our lousiness.
All my life will end for him?
We're all out of signs,
I know I'm sorta shocked
To hear The Lord,
My God now will save me!
Oh I will n'er be saved,
Because I live with Satan..
One wish today;
That you'll all pray for
Three who will make it here late.
Pray now and you'll see..
The 'Lord' turned me on,
But, oh, I was the shaggy fool..
Clothed in agony,
Lost at a height.
There's no escaping it,
Nor his woes..
So here's to my Sweet Satan.
The other's little path
Would make me sad,
Whose power is faith.
He'll give those with him 666.
And all the evil fools,
they know he made
us suffer sadly.
Ohohohoh...
"Family won't get loose,
They're offered me."
Always soothes the worker.
Always will be as we know now
"I see ruins," said he,
"the world they offered me?
Who wished the Lord's fall?"
If we lose feather,
Say you'll save me!

And no wimps can bend the rules..
And no wimps can do..

Hunt next to the shore,
'Cause they see all from there,
See here's the news,
Who walks with mute grief!
Perhaps no-one found thee...
"Heavy, lift me out,"
Spake the Reve,
"Someday, failed, we'll lose one line-up,
They've gotta leave forsaken."

And no wimps can do..
And no wimps can do...

He, who say the lords
Thoth have our laws,
Maat must be superb. Mass is ended..
Over there,
He who should learn thee.
Any moot that serves by my sworn music,
I wish it with snow be shushed,
All for my mass's sake.
Hear why its sung,
here, oppositioner, Ohh..
He who should show
May make his show worthy,
To look, for us, odd.. sickly,
There's one chance - take his show.
Hold thy head,
Hear why its sung here. oppositioner.
Who owns this earth built below?
Oh sweet Israel...

don't believe me, play vinyl backwards... it's indeniable
but yea, just grab you beautiful Led Zep - IV album and sing along

odd, freaky, but man these people were geniuses somehow...
granted a lot sounds like gibberish, but some is just too much for coincidence...
regardless, something to ponder whether you think the lyrics fit or not
wink.gif

I'd give out the link to it backwards, but I think ya'll would kill my bandwidth, so PM me if you really want it

I've listened to this part before:

"So here's to my Sweet Satan."

(which is right at the line "There's still time to change the road you're on")

I had heard about that years and years ago...

I bet the rest of it was done with a lot inspiration.. or booze and weed :)

Surely you jest. This has been done over and over again; apparently with the advent of computers powerful enough to handle editing music, people are doing it again. Yes, you CAN hear things like that, IF you're listening for them. If you just listen without a lyrics sheet in front of you, it sounds entirely different.

For crying out loud, I've found 'satanic messages' in Alabama's Song of the South. Country group. Hardly what you'd call satanic. There were references to 'my throne' and 'we will all bow'. Basically, if you play something backward, you will hear words. Your brain interpets sounds and fills in the gap.

That being said, playing songs backwards and listening for messages is a highly entertaining way to pass time. I did it for about 2 hours one night.

Tell you what; I went through a couple seemingly innocent songs, and to my shock, I found horrible things encoded. From Tommy Tutone's Jenny (aka 867-5309), I got this:

I'm high, oh you know that I'm still high, oh you know that I'm still high
As the years go by, yeah I'm moving, freedom!

DRUG REFERENCES! HIDE THE CHILDREN!

Ha ha.....I don't hear any of those words listed when reversed, just gibberish.

If you want some real fun open CD booklet of Zep IV to center illustation of Gandalf on mountain top overlooking village. Place edge with Gandalf at 90 degree angle with mirror so reflection forms one larger image with original.

The evil dragon will appear!

i heard the "oh sweet satan...." line years ago when friend played it backwards via reel. it sounded a little sloppy, but it was still clear what he was saying.

He did a nationally syndicated radio talk show on the paranormal, UFOs, Alien encounters, etc. He has now since retired, and some other guy has taken his place, though not sure of his name.

interesting...

it's gibberish without the lyrics to look at. but it's possible to following along with the lyrics if it's infront of you. hard to believe they were that brilliant, as awesome as they are.

try it for yourself, it's quite interesting. if you dont know how, rip the wav and open it with windows sound recorder, select reverse under effects.

Really? Never knew that. Freaky thing to listen to late at night with headphones is all I knew. Disgustipated (from Undertow) is also quite good, but supposedly that was a message Maynard's landlord left on his machine.

I heard that "Here's to my sweet satan" on a high school radio station promo. Its freaky but the two potheads who made the promo made it hilarious. I mentioned it in another thread. It was something like
guy1) Dude did he just say "heres to my sweet satan"
guy2)no way dude he said listen to mike and jimmy on WPAA
guy1) dude thats awesome
guy2) dude

Or something like that. It was hilarious, anyway yeah its there.
