srh 1540 sound sig in another headphone

I had the Shure SRH1540. I recommend the Sony MDR-1AM2 with a nice amplifier/dac. If you take them, make them burn for 70 - 100 hours. Aesthetically they are not as beautiful as the Shure, but the sound is much more defined.

Interesting I had the 1am2’s also and found the symbols to be unnatural. At the time i was using the fiio q5 and now i use the schitt modi magni combo, so it would probably sound different on this set up, though perhaps burn in might help here, but idk i was comparing against the dt 880 at the time so maybe just by comparison it sounded unnatural

cant beat the comfort of the 1am2’s though! So light!
