Anyone updated/rebuilt one of these? I'm considering it as a low risk fun DIY project. I have the schematics and moderate skill but it has been a long time since I built anything - last project was replacing diode, caps and resistors in the HK tube gear I own about 8 years ago. I'm thinking this would be a simpler version of that project. I am assuming the transformer, switch and housing are the least replaceable components. Are there any meaningful opportunities for performance improvements? If not, I'd likely just do a simple update.
