SR60s are just great and fun listening cans. They're not the greatest but are a great step into the Grado world, as well as the MS-1s.

At this price point you can't say for sure. I agree with the blind test.
Take your fave cd's or mp3 to your dealer, and try them.
They are so close you don't have to worry. I say get the 60's, and save the rest toward when you can afford to jump higher!
